The Challenge Program, Inc., an educational non-profit that partners with businesses to motivate high school students to develop the habits required to succeed in school and their careers, has received a $190,000 donation from American Eagle Paper Mills. The Tyrone, Pa-based manufacturer, an industry leader in high-quality recycled papermaking, made the contribution recently through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit program.

“This generous donation from American Eagle Paper Mills will impact students in thirteen schools in Blair, Centre, Huntingdon, and Clearfield counties. We are proud to partner with the company whose 190 employees transform 200 tons of wastepaper each day into premium recycled paper. Together, our organizations will build solid work habits while connecting students with career opportunities,” said Barbara Grandinetti, president of The Challenge Program, Inc.

American Eagle Paper Mills Vice President of Finance and Administration, Clark Adelman, remarked, “We are happy to partner with The Challenge Program to motivate our local high school students to develop the habits essential to succeed in school and their careers.”
