Who's Eligible
- PA businesses with the following tax liabilities may qualify (Corporate Net Income, Bank Shares, Insurance Premium, Mutual Thrift, Malt Beverage, etc.)
- Donate to an approved Educational Improvement Organization (TCP) to claim credits.
- Apply directly via DCED or participate through a Special Purpose Entity (SPE)
Credit Snapshot
- One year commitment: typically 75% tax credit (up to program caps).
- Two-year commitment: typically 90% tax credit.
- Pre-K component: often 100% of first $10,000 and up to 90% of the remainder (up to annual cap).
- Timeline: Renewals May 15 - Jun 30; new applications July 1; first come
