Brookville’s Casey Riley named a top finalist in 2025 Student of the Year Competition

BROOKVILLE — Brookville Area High School junior Casey Riley has been named a top 7 finalist in The Challenge Program, Inc.’s 2025 Student of the Year Competition, an honor recognizing students who go above and beyond to meet personal and academic challenges.
Riley was selected from more than 400 applicants across Pennsylvania and West Virginia, earning a $500 award and an invitation to the prestigious Crystal Owl Gala in Pittsburgh on April 30.
Presented annually by The Challenge Program, Inc. (TCP), the Student of the Year award highlights students who demonstrate exceptional dedication, resilience, and initiative both in and outside the classroom. Riley was recognized not only for her academic achievements and community involvement but also for her compelling reflection on how the program has influenced her personal and professional growth.
She received her award during a special presentation at school, where she was joined by TCP representatives and faculty. She also received a formal certificate and commemorative folder recognizing her achievement. As one of the top 10 finalists, she was invited to attend TCP’s Crystal Owl Gala at the Omni William Penn Grand Ballroom, where she was publicly honored for her contributions and success.
Through her involvement with The Challenge Program, Casey has gained access to scholarship opportunities, recognition from regional employers, and inspiration to pursue future goals with confidence and determination.
