Tafco Partners with The Challenge Program, Inc. to Support Clearfield and Curwensville Students

The Challenge Program, Inc. (TCP) is excited to welcome Tafco as a new business partner supporting Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School and Curwensville Area Junior-Senior High School.
To celebrate the partnership, representatives from Tafco and The Challenge Program, Inc. gathered at Tafco on October 2, 2025, for a check presentation marking the start of their collaboration.
Through this partnership, Tafco is helping The Challenge Program, Inc. fulfill its mission of connecting business and education to motivate high school students to succeed in the categories of Attendance, STEM, Academic Improvement, Academic Excellence, and Community Service.
At TAFCO, our true competitive advantage is our employees, Our goal is to make our team members the strongest people they can be - and this starts in the classroom. There are so many wonderful opportunities that exist here in the Clearfield and Curwensville areas, and we want to help each student take advantage of these opportunities. I am reminded of a quote from Charles Schwab: 'The way to develop the best that is in a man is by appreciation and encouragement.' We all have greatness inside of us; it just takes some encouragement and appreciation to bring it out.

Accounting Manager, TAFCO
This partnership is about building opportunity, skills, and future career pathways. Together with TAFCO, we're helping students see the connection between what they're learning in school and the opportunities that exist right here in their community. When businesses and schools work together, students are inspired to think about their futures in new ways and motivated to achieve their goals.

With TAFCO’s sponsorship, students at Clearfield and Curwensville will have the opportunity to participate in workforce activities presented by TCP and be recognized for their achievements throughout the school year.
The check presentation at TAFCO celebrated not only a new partnership but also a shared commitment to empowering students and building a stronger future for the region.
