TCP Business Partner Receives Honors

The Laurel Highlands Council of the Boy Scouts of America will honor Robert J. Eyer with its 2017 Distinguished Citizen Award for outstanding civic leadership.

Eyer, president of the Johnstown-based accounting firm Wessel & Co., considers the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award among his many professional accolades. He will accept the award at the 47th annual Harry E. Mangle Memorial Dinner, to be held on Feb. 23 in Johnstown, PA

In the fall of 2016, Eyer was honored at a reception for The Chapel of Four Chaplains & The Four Chaplains Memorial Foundation with the Humanitarian Award. Eyers had received the prestigious Legion of Honor Award prior to 2016.

Wessel & Company has been a long time supporter of Portage and Penn Cambria High Schools and Eyer served on The Challenge Program, Inc. Board of Directors for eight years.  The Challenge Program, Inc. congratulates Bob on his accomplishments and owes him a debt of gratitude for his long support and service to the Program.
