Businesses play an integral role in The Challenge Program, Inc.'s mission.
Both local and national businesses serve as business ambassadors and have the
unique opportunity to speak to students about their success stories, their
businesses and the careers that are available to students after they complete
their formal education. Students are often excited to learn about different
companies and career opportunities that exist within their communities and begin
to realize that the can be successful in or near their hometown.
The businesses partnering with TCP are diverse - coming from 19 different
industries. They run the gamut from Utility Companies to Financial Services,
Individuals to Engineering and Defense to Manufacturing.
Businesses have served as the backbone of our program since the very
beginning. In addition to their monetary contributions, our business
partners or Business Ambassadors as they are called, have provided their
time and talent to their school partners - whether it is presenting at the
orientation assembly or working with students after school to show them the
possibilities that lie ahead, they have taken their role seriously. For all
they have done, we salute them.
